Take The Right Type of Micro-Break To Drive Performance

All breaks are not equal. Microbreaks are very short breaks…lasting anywhere from 2-5 minutes. In a study published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, it was found that sales performance increased after employees took these three types of microbreaks:

  • Relaxation
  • Socialization
  • Cognitive

What about snacks and drinks? The did not impact sales performance.
